ABOUT GIVING 10
Giving 10 is being developed to relieve financial distress among workers and their families who experience unexpected emergencies. Participating employees may voluntarily contribute $10 per month through payroll deduction, creating a shared source of charitable assistance for documented financial needs.

Giving 10—not the participating employer—administers applications, verifies financial need and makes grant decisions using written eligibility standards. Employers do not select recipients or receive applicants’ personal hardship information. Approved assistance is generally paid directly to verified vendors rather than given to applicants as cash.

Donating does not guarantee assistance, and employees are not required to donate to apply. Every award is based on documented financial need, applicable program limits and available charitable funds.

Giving 10 is a Missouri nonprofit corporation currently in the process of seeking federal tax-exempt status. While our organizational framework is established, our specific assistance programs, employer enrollment, and hardship grants have not yet officially launched. We are diligently preparing our infrastructure to ensure a robust and compliant start for our donor and recipient communities.
